“Central Location in City Centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Every thing that you would want for a weekend away. Right next to the theater and within walking distance of shops , pubs, clubs and restaurants. Will stay here again.
Only disappointment was the room smelled musty when you first open the door as the extractor fan was not working in our bathroom.

Thanks for your review, the location of the hotel is great for exploring Nottingham City Centre and the surrounding areas, it’s also good to hear you would stay with us again.
I have asked the maintenance team to double check the extract fan’s in the Bathrooms.

Regards Jeremy

7/10 - I'd stay again!

Good points - Price, location, breakfast (5.95 all you can eat - fried breakfast, pastries, bread, fruit, yoghurts, cereal, juices, tea/coffee)

Bad points - Room very basic/dated (apart from new TV), noise from street outside, limited parking (but discount at local NCP is good)

Tips - bring earplugs, ask for more towels, reserve parking in advance

Hi and thanks for taking the time to wright a review.

The breakfast is lovely and we often receive great feedback from our guests so I am glad you enjoyed it aswell.

It’s always best to pre-book on-site car-parking as we are one of the only city centre hotels with its own on-site car park it means it is very popular and often fills very quickly.

Regards Jeremy

Just couldn't be any more central, ideal for Theatre Royal.
The hotel is a little dated but spotlessly clean, well maintained, good room, well equipped, great nights sleep.
Breakfast wasn't amazing but perfectly adequate.
For the price we paid, great value.

We stayed six nights for the first Ashes test in July. Location fantastic, staff at front desk 10/10 breakfast staff 10/10. Great tips from front of house and always a hello or goodbye when coming or going.
The rooms are only it's downfall, instead of soap you have to use a lotion when showering. One day for whatever reason our room wasn't serviced, and that was the day the lotion ran out. Disappointed a fridge wasn't in the room.
Place needs a bit of renovating, however bed comfortable.
Probably wouldn't stay again, but would stay in the area.

Room Tip: Need to pay per day if you have a car, very reasonable price though.

Location is very good. Room was spacious with all the usual bits one would expect and a decent view over Nottingham city centre. Lounge/bar area was ok, drink prices were very reasonable. Food was average at best. Would still use as a stoppover hotel though as the value or money aspect was high.
