“Room good, breakfast disappointing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Great location and very quiet. The room was large enough and had a good bathroom. Rather strange air conditioning with only one temperature so I had to turn it on and off several times. Otherwise the room was a bit hot.
Staff pleasant enough, but no real 'service' feel. I appreciated the complementary glass of wine in the bar. The breakfast was only just adequate, almost as if they weren't expecting that many people. I certainly didn't feel spoilt!! Not as good as many other hotels. Other reviewers have noted this, so I feel they ought to take notice.
Good spot though for a couple of nights in Nottingham.

Visited twice and always had great experiences. The staff are welcoming, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well furnished. I can't fault it, except for the breakfast. The breakfast seems to be of low quality, with staff members standing around waiting for you to finish and making you feel uncomfortable.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone; just don't stay for breakfast!

Lovely hotel, inside and out, chandeliers galore...very boutique. Did not disappoint in the ambience. Rooms a bit on the small side but clean and nice bathroom with a very small bath and overhead shower which was beautifully powerful. Bar prices what you expect for a city centre hotel, but a lovely area to sit in the fake fires on the wall. Breakfast not brilliant, improvements could be made. Booked many months in advance for 4 rooms and great price through booking.com

Room Tip: Higher rooms probably better, and away from the noisy lifts

A delightful hotel in the centre of Nottingham. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was lovely - beautifully equipped with outstanding views over Nottingham. The staff were extremely helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Stayed here for one night on business. The hotel is beautiful as you walk in, very boutiquey with gorgeous fresh flowers. Room was also nice size and clean. Staff were great, especially the bar staff. Shame about their uniforms, their white aprons made them look like butchers not bartenders! But all in all great stay.

I needed 3 hotel rooms for a weekend in Nottingham for a wedding and this was just right. All rooms different and priced accordingly ( and reasonably ). Nice double for me and my partner and what they call crash pads for single occupancy in particular for my 2 adult children. They each still had double beds, wi fi, en suite and more but at a lower price, which was great for me as the bill payer. I loved the decoration/design of the place - very modern and colourful. Service, breakfast, ambience, location all great and parking right next door. Would use it again when visiting Nottingham.

Lovely ambience, superb staff, thoroughly recommend. Breakfast was excellent and the convenient parking was a bonus. Bar prices very reasonable and the rooms were well stocked with everything you could need.
