“Great food and low price for Nottingham city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

We went to nada on a whim and on a Friday. The food is great and a bit different to other restaurants in Nottingham. We had excellent service and will be taking friends here for our next birthday.

“Delicious food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

Great food and service - highly recommended. A little bit hidden given it is the lower ground floor and has a busy bar above, but well worth seeking it out and getting passed the busy ground floor bar for really good food.

“Authentic Food, Passionate Owner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

This restraurant is clearly a labour of love, run by an owner obviously committed to Malay food and culture. The food is unusual: a good range of dishes cooked really well and tasting very good indeed. We accompanied it with a very good Malbec. The owner is friendty and helpful. We went early on in the restaurants's life and the service and timing was not quite up to par. But we went again last night and it was really good, so I'm putting that first experience down to teething problems. The restaurant was not full on our second visit. It deserves to be. This, to my mind, is certainly one of the top restaurnats for its price in Nottingham city centre. Do try it!

“A very good restaurant indeed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

Having eaten at Nada Budaya twice now I thought it time to write a few words as both experiences have been great. I've been weekend and mid week now with couples and again with work colleagues and both times Nada Budaya has hit the spot, each time has seen a different menus item ordered and everything to date has been brilliant, really good and well presented food. Service is great, attentive but not too over the top, and time has been taken to explain dishes to help decision when it was needed. We will keep coming back unless the is some fundamental change, but somehow I think there's no chance of that. So here's to the next set of dishes to try. As has been said this is a little gem.

“Understated gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013 via mobile

Got pulled into this restaurant by Big D who is a fan of Malaysian cuisine. We were welcomed by one if the owners and made to feel at home. He then gave us quite a bit of attention and help with the menu. The food was great and Big D can testify that it is as authentic as you can get this far from Malaysia. The best compliment I can pay is that we visited again the following week!
