“Great customer service, great food, hilarious karaoke!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

Booked a set menu and karaoke deal for a work Christmas do and it was a great night. The staff here are amazingly attentive and clearly want you to enjoy your experience. The food was great, it was a week night so the atmosphere was a little low key as we were eating early but that's not a big deal. The karaoke room was great, decent selection of songs and plenty of comedy videos to accompany them. Definitely recommend it for a pretty cheap, entertaining night out with a group of friends or workmates.

“A bizarre experience!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

My wife & I booked a table for 2 on Saturday as we were visiting the Nottingham Arena for the Rod Stewart concert (brilliant gig by-the-way). On arrival we were greeted by a male member of staff who instructed a female waitress to take us to our table. We followed her up a set of narrow stairs where we then arrived at a corridor with port hole type windows in. She then knocked the door of room 1 & entered. There was already a middle aged couple sitting at a table in what can only be described as a den! They, like us looked rather perplexed by their surrounds. We sat at our table which was badly chipped & covered with, what looked like, cigarette burns! The room did not smells overly fresh & judging by the tv screen & microphones in the corner of the room, this was obviously a karaoke room. Our drinks order was taken which was around about the time that I asked the fellow diners if we had gatecrashed their party! The waitress then returned with our drinks before changing songs on the karaoke machine & leaving. On every occasion that the waitress entered the den, she knocked the door & waited for a response before entering, what was she so concerned about or what was she expecting to be going on in the den that she had to wait for a response before entering the den? Our food arrived, set meal for 2, which I can only describe as beautiful! Great value for money at £13:90 per person! Another couple of diners, after knocking, joined our group to eat. They also looked rather quizzical of their surrounds but were told that a group of around 30 Rod Stewart fans had booked the downstairs main dining area so were ushered up into the den. We finished our meal, paid our bill at £37:30 which included 1 bottle of chinese lager & 2 glasses of wine so very good value for money & made our way downstairs to the exit. Strangely the downstairs restaurant was deserted so why we were taken to the seedy den is a mystery? All-in-all a bizarre experience but a curiously enjoyable one at that!

“Truly delicious food if you venture of the 'beaten track'!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013 via mobile

I went here with my fiancé. We decided against the usual dishes, and we asked the owner to recommend some dishes which he duly did. The food was outstanding, it tasted great and looked good. We went on a Sunday, so the atmosphere wasn't great as it was quiet, but this meant they could concentrate on us, meaning the service was brilliant. We'll be going back here when passing through Notts again.

“Great Food in a great location!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

This well positioned restaurant is ideal for a pre show meal, it has a great range of food and a lovely atmosphere.
After looking at the menu for 10 minutes we were still unable to make a decision about what to eat, there was just so much choice!! The service was quick and the staff were very friendly, my boyfriend is a fussy eater and they were kind enough to accommodate his dietary preferences. I throughly enjoyed the experience and was very impressed with the standard of the food and the service. We will defiantly be returning next time I go to see a show in Nottingham.
