When I found out I was staying in a hotel called "Comfort Hotel" I thought it was the company cutting costs again, how I could be so wrong, the hotel is slap bang in the middle of town and a stones throw from the train station which is handy. The lobby has internet access on the computer, with a small reception with just one receptionist. The hotel interior does seem outdated, by only the equipment it appears (such as lift and TV's) The bed's are one of the most comfortable I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in, absolute delight to sleep in. The room was very small, but the bed just made up for it, I strongly recommend setting an alarm because you will not want to get up in the morning! The food hall is nice and clean, the food was acceptable, but if you like your food, I would advise on eating out in one of the many eateries in the near vicinity. Nottingham itself was very architectural and pleasant, with a busy nightlife. Room service it does say is provided 24 hours a day, but when I asked for a sandwich at 12midnight I was told the chef had gone home, but they did bring me a plate of biscuits for no charge which I thought was quite novel and slightly amusing. At least I got a snack, and not having to pay made it all the more better. I would recommend this hotel, and next time my work takes me to Nottingham I will be staying in this hotel again.
