A great welcome - very warm and friendly. Our waiter, Ash, made us feel at home from the start - so different from most other restaurants. Our Poppadoms arrived quickly and we placed our mains order at the same time. We had to wait a long time for them to arrive, about an hour. We were told this was due to the number of takeaway orders they had had (75) over the evening. The food was superb. I ordered the Achari Chicken Tikka with hot sauce. Word of warning - this sauce is extremely hot and not for the faint hearted.
The manager let us know that the service was slow due to the number of takeaways but kept us regularly informed when our main order would arrive. To be honest we weren't too bothered as the booze was flowing very well and the atmosphere was very lively.
Other than the wait for our main meals, this was a very enjoyable evening (particularly as the staff were so welcoming) and we would highly recommend Lime.
