Visited this restaurant yesterday with my son.We both love turkish food and I have lived in Turkey and been travelling there for about 30 years.I was a bit dubious when I saw the outside but the smells coming from the restaurant were delicious!
We were not disappointed! We went for the set menu priced at £20.We shared a large plate of mezes served with lovely warm bread, all of which were delicious. Our main course was a large plate of mixed kebabs, served on a bed of rice with a side salad and a plate of fried onions with a pomegrante dressing. All the portions were generous and we couldn't eat all the rice - mainly because I wanted to save room for the baklava and Tutkish coffee. With 2 Effes beers and a bottle of red wine as well, our bill came to just under £60 which we both agreed was money well spent! We shall visit again.Such a shame that Northampton centre is so awful and depressing.
