I have come to expect a minimum standard at TL and this consistent service is why I use them, good value for what you do get. No mess or fuss just a bed for the night. The Upton TL is well verywell situated.

My wife and I stayed here on the 26th April 2014 for one night as we were attending the football match between Coventry City and our beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers at the nearby Sixfields Stadium. We had printed off directions from the Travelodge website and I must say, it was very easy to find, even without a sat-nav. There was plenty of parking when we arrived and as we had paid for early check-in, we went straight in. The reception area was immaculate, the girl on the desk was lovely and we were in our room within minutes. The room was also immaculate and must have been recently refurbished as it looked as if it had never been used. We didn't realise that there were no restaurant or bar facilities, but don't be put off as you are spoilt for choice for places to dine within a few minutes walk. You are even encouraged to take in your own drinks as there is a bottle opener attached to the dressing table. We had a good day at the football, went out for a meal at night and then had a lovely, comfortable nights sleep in a luxury bed. The girl on the desk when we checked out, again, was lovely and within minutes we were back on the M1 motorway and heading home. Really can't fault this place one bit and if ever Wolves play Coventry City or Northampton Town, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Perhaps a room on a higher floor would be better as we did hear the people in the room above us.

It looked like an average Travelode but it had the best travelodge room I have been in - spacious, clean, quiet, it had two chairs rather than the usual one, good shelving (not like the new Travelodge "look"), cheap wifi and one of the great new beds.
The hotel aslo had an adequate amount of free car parking.
There was no restaurant but there was an American diner next door.

Have stayed at this hotel many times. I'm so glad that it has had a refurb. Looks clean and rooms look refreshed. Staff friendly and knowledgable. Amenities across the road and a cinema. Good nights sleep.

I stayed here the FIAWEC and it was great except for the noise. I could hear everything and it sounded like they were in the room with me. Lovely staff and great location. M&S, Buddies and TGI Friday close by but some very noisy people kind of ruined my stay. People upstairs making noise and people walking up and down the hall were so loud and noisy that it sounded as if they were in the room,Slamming doors etc. Other than that it was a good place to stay, affordable, close to circuit. About 15 minutes by car. Northampton train station is a short taxi ride away and you can get a direct train to Birmingham airport, just a 40 minute trip. Buddies Diner is a great place to eat. The food is great, fair prices and the portions are huge! Just bring ear plugs and it's the perfect place to stay!!!

I chose to stay here as it wasn't too far from Silverstone where I was headed for the weekend. It suited my needs perfectly. Plenty of places to eat around the lodge and the room was clean and tidy. The only thing lacking was the number of plug sockets in the room to charge the various devices.
