In March 2014, our family had a wonderful stay in the Annex at Shepard's Row. We had made our decision as to where to stay based on all of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. Shepard's Row did not disappoint. One surprise, the annex is much bigger than it looks in the pictures. There is one large room, big enough for a double bed and a twin with a large desk and small fridge and a smaller room with another double/queen off to the side. Plenty of room for the family to spread out. Charles, Jane and Alice were wonderfully helpful, lending us their maps and "local" knowledge allowing us to use their phone when ours didn't work. They also had emailed us ahead of our visit to check the ages of our boys (10 and 13) to see if they wanted to share a bed or would prefer two separate ones. Very thoughtful! Breakfast was amazing! I would highly recommend Shepard's Row!
