We stayed as a group of fishing friends on the weekend 28/9/2012 to 1/10/2012. One of our group arrived early and Anthea kindly allowed him to book in early and stow luggage in the room early afternoon. The rest of us arrived for dinner and where shown to our rooms. Each of us was very impressed by the quality, cleanliness and overall luxury. We went to dinner and for all 3 nights of our stay enjoyed a variety of excellent food, well cooked and served by well trained staff. Each morning breakfast was as big or as small as you wanted it to be but whatever you chose was well prepared and tasty.
Given that the pub sits equidistant fro Pitsford and Ravensthorpe it's an ideal location if you are fishing the reservoirs.
The care and attention to detail shown by Les and Anthea is plain to see as the whole weekend was particularly pleasant, friendly and very good value for money.

I'm sure we will stay again.

Room Tip: If there are two of you ask to have room number one - it's huge and on the ground floor.

What a great place to stay. Everything about this was good - village location, quiet, great food, great service, great hosts, nice clean accomodation. It is very difficult to find fault as hard as I try and you can't ask for much more than that.

If you need to stop in this area and want this type of accomodation please try the Coach and Horses as you won't go wrong - promise!!

Actually pint of lager at £3.40 is expensive - but then I am a Jock used to paying £2.90 :-)

We have stayed at this pub B&B for the past two years over the British Grand Prix week-end due to its close location to Silverstone. The pub is welcoming with great accommodation, freshly cooked food and friendly hosts and staff. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. Full english breakfasts are plentiful and well cooked whilst the menu for dinner has many and varied choices all food being fresh, well cooked with locally sourced steaks. A proper, traditional English pub with great food and hospitality - already booked for next year's GP - See you again Les and Anthea!!!!

I stayed at the Coach and Horses for 3 nights whilst on business. From the first welcome to the final goodbye Les and Anthea and all their staff were very friendly and hospitable. I ate for 3 evenings and 3 breakfasts and every meal was served freshly cooked and piping hot. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very clean. I even enjoyed a few drinks at the bar with some friendly locals each evening.

During our travels in England in May 2012, 7 of us stayed at the Coach and Hoses, and we were hosted by Les and Anthea. We had four rooms for 4 nights, and had Breakfast every morning, and Dinner two nights during our visit. The rooms were clean, and provided all the immentities needed when so far from home. The meals and service at every meal provided by Les, anthea and the staff, made our stay the highlight of our 12 nights stay in England. If you want a taste of an English Pub environment, great meals, great rooms and hospitality then stay at he Coach and Horses. We will be back for a visit the next time we come to England. Thank you Les and Anthea.

It's nice to find such immaculate rooms in a pub B and B. We felt really comfortable here, the room was warm and cosy with attention to detail, nice fluffy towels and a lovely big shower. Breakfast was also big in true traditional English style. Can't comment on the food in general as we didn't eat here. The pub itself is quite old fashioned but has some charm with real fires and excellent friendly staff.

Booked a table for 11 to clebrate my husband's birthday. We were made very welcome and as I am on a special diet I had called a few days before and a meal had been prepared for my needs. We visited on a cold Tuesday night in February and were made very welcome, albeit it could have been a tad warmer in the small room we were sitting. The menu was large and varied and there was something to suit everyone and the prices were good as well. We will definately be coming back but possibly in the summer so my aged parents don't fall over in the ice bound car park!
