This was recommended to us by our guest house owners. We were a little wary as it was in The Shambles, which might mean it was over-priced and under par quality-wise; but my fears proved to be completely un-founded. The food was very good and so was the wine; the service was genuinely friendly, and the ambience was also very good (although we did have to ask for the music to be turned down when we first sat down because we were shouting at each other to be heard!) My only grumble was the paucity of vegetables with our main courses. My saltimbocca, for example, while delicious, was barely "garnished" with a couple of morsels of courgette in a dab of tomato sauce.
