Ordered from the lunch menu which was very basic. Our party was made up of 4 adults. We orrdered 4 burgers and one chicken meal. The was one burger choice, and when we asked if we could add some bacon we were told "No. You cannot add or remove anything from the food". Very odd, as we were told we'd have to wait 30 minutes because the meals were made from scratch (as also described on the menu). My husbands chicken arrived with bacon across the top, which I found interesting! So it wasn't as through they didn't have any bacon in their fridge! Burger was far too big and was difficult to eat. The bun was nice quality. There was not enough chips and the salad was no existant. All in all, expensive for what it was £9 something for a cheese burger. Better places to go in York.
