I cannot praise this lovely little cafe highly enough. Opened recently it is run by a lovely local family, with cakes and food baked freshly on the premises. The chocolate cake is so good that they have to make a new one every day. I take my children after school as a treat, and they love it. The staff couldn't be friendlier, the food is delicious (as the name says!) and the coffee is excellent. My personal favourite is the Flat White, but I've tried them all and they are all good. My daughter is very fussy about cakes, normally won't eat them, and their chocolate cake is one of the only ones she will eat. My little boy has tried a variety of offerings, all have been voted excellent. The service is friendly and welcoming, even when they are extremely busy. You may need to wait a little at peak times, as everything is fresh, but it is well worth it!
All the food is served in or on gorgeous vintage style crockery, and if you order a tea they bring you a little timer to tell you the perfect length of time for it to brew! They are super-family friendly, with books available for the children to read, high chairs, and are always willing to let you re-arrange the furniture to suit your needs.
They also do break and cakes to take away, and are open from 8am (if not before) which sets them apart in our City of cafes which don't open until 10am!
I would highly recommend a visit, you will certainly be back!
