A group of us went for a meal here last night after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were all so impressed. The restaurant is very clean and modern, and is a nice size - small enough to feel intimate and the staff always around if you need anything, but large enough to feel that you are having your own meal, and not one with the people on the next table!
We have a 15 month old little boy, and our babysitter had to cancel at late notice so he came with us. The staff were excellent with him throughout the meal. The were speaking to him and giving him lots of attention - which he loved! The highchair they supplied was great too - any parent will know that the highchair on offer in a restaurant is often a deal-breaker. He could sit well in it, without slipping down or slouching, and it had an easy-to-reach tray which was great for him (highchairs with no trays are rubbish!). Gave 4 stars rather than 5 on this rating as there were no baby-changing facilities (I changed him on my knee in the toilets which isn't ideal).
The food was excellent. All 8 of us cleared our plates (they even made a mini-portion of Korma for our son which was a real hit). Portion sizes were great and food was served piping hot. Very authentic-tasting curries.
The staff were very friendly, checked all was OK with our meals, and made sure we always had a drink if we needed one.
We will definitely be coming back here.
