I stayed here for a couple of days with my mam, dad and older sister from 1st November to 3rd of November, and I can tell you straight away that it's just a brilliant B&B.
Julie and Ian were absolutely great, you could hold a conversation with them as if they were your friends, and they're springer spaniel Leo was amazing. I even bought a bone for Julie to give him just before we left.
Also, the breakfasts were really good, and Julie and Ian's two daughters were just as great as them (one of them is in Year 10 like me, so it was good to speak to someone my age for a bit haha).
Ian even offered to make and wrap up some food for my sister, who missed breakfast on the Sunday, so that she wasn't hungry all day, which was just lovely (and she ate it within 5 minutes too so she must have enjoyed it).
Our room was cute, the beds were really comfortable and it was unbelievably clean (first time I've slept in bunk beds for ages).
It was a nice little stroll into the city centre too, so the location was perfect.
In general, I really don't think anyone can fault this B&B. Thanks a lot for making my first trip to York a wonderful weekend guys and God bless! :')
By the way, tell your daughter (I didn't catch her name) that I said good luck in her GCSEs-especially German hahaha. :)
