We have just visited for the third time. We were, as ever, made extremely welcome by hosts Brian and Abby. Great to know that we can always rely on Seaview to provide first rate hospitality. Mandy and Mark

Have stayed at the sea view many times .Keep thinking Brian and Abby may have got complacent how wrong could I be. The place just keeps getting better and better. like fresh fruit in the bedrooms. Great value for your money, Every thing is top quality no cheap sausages here all local products. Fantastic Bed & Breakfast.

It has to be over ten years since we started visiting Abby and Brian at the Seaview, and over the years we have seen them take a good B&B and turn it into one which has become exceptional, and as individual and stylish as any top London Boutique B&B, in fact more so, as they have stamped their love and passion on their warm and welcoming home. We have just returned from a Gorgeous three night stay, spoilt rotten with Brian's excellent home made cakes and jams, and waited on by the ever attentive Abby. You haven't really had a breakfast until you have experienced Brian's Belt Stretching fare. Anywhere else offering such service would be double their charges and you would never experience such a high level of service, simply, its their love of their work that just shines through. We can not praise them highly enough, its just not just the spotless rooms etc, it isn't the Art Deco artefacts nor the wonderful decorations of the interior, sympathetically done and in keeping with the age of the property, it isn't the stunning garden, which I may I add, looked blooming in the middle of November. Its their compassion and understanding of what their guests need to feel welcome, and when you have that you simply can not get any better. We shall be back, don't know when, but we shall return.
Thank you Abby and Brian for your welcome and making even more memories for us to cherish.

Room Tip: Give the room overlooking the garden a try, its cozily stylish.

Great stay this weekend at the Seaview! Brian and Abby are lovely hosts and provide a very welcoming and cosy Guest House. This is our 2nd stay at the Seaview and we couldn't ask for more, The rooms are very stylish and have everything you could need for your stay, lots of homely touches are wonderful. Everywhere is impeccably clean. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice and is in a great location. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be booking again next year.
Vicky and Matt.

Room Tip: We have stayed in Rooms 3 and 7 both a lovely with a Sea view.

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Sea view Guest House. This B&B is the best we have ever stayed in, the place is immaculate, the breakfast fab and the views spectacular. We stayed in one of the front bedrooms which was nicely decorated, had a comfy bed, well equipped bathroom and a floor to ceiling window with sea view. We enjoyed the tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit and Parkin which were provided in the room. Much appreciated after a long journey. They even had some decaf tea, which I prefer to drink in the evening.
The breakfasts were scrumptious and plentiful. As fish lovers we opted for the kippers one morning and smoked salmon the next, both delicious. My husband particularly enjoyed the homemade Seville marmalade.
Brian and Abby were friendly and helpful, offering us advise on restaurants, things to do and places to see.
Luckily the weather stayed dry throughout the weekend enabling us to thoroughly explore Whitby and the nearby villages of Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay.
We usually started our evenings in the Duke of York pub followed by dinner.
We had two very nice evening meals, one at the Magpie( we had managed to book) and the other at the Marine Hotel.
Whitby is a great place to take a holiday, particular if you stay at the Sea view. The whole experience was so enjoyable we have booked for next year.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms would be nice . We stayed in room 3 which had a sea view and Juliet balcony. N...
