Wonderful.
If you ever see a KGB dea lagain I suggest you just book and go.
Lovely hotel, the staff changed our room no problem so we could have a bath. Four poster etc we stayed in the Georgian House.
Fab breakfast and so easy to walk on the flat into town, Will defo look at visiting againm sadly it was bitter cold so much so I thought my eyelids would burn off!

We have just returned from our second stay at Bagdale hall and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and the rooms very warm and comfortable...essential in this winter weather. Our first stay was in the lodge....just a little walk up the road from the main hall, but very comfortable, clean and well facilitated. Our second stay was in the building next door but two to the Hall itself. The building was full of old world character, and we had a 4 poster bed, huge room, hall and bathroom. The hotel is very well situated in Whitby and I would definitely recommend it. Breakfast is full English and very well cooked. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed mussels in white wine for starter and steak pie for main....couldn't fit a pudding in.

Room Tip: The lodge rooms are the least costly and very good, so if you are on a budget and are not too worrie...

Have just returned from our second stay at Bagdale Hall. The hotel is very well placed for exploring Whitby or exploring further afield either by car or public transport. Bus stops or train station wihin walking distance of hotel.
. It was a second stay for us in the lodge. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable, Our friends who came with us had a lovely room with a four poster bed very spacious with easy chairs and a big bathroom. We ate one night in the restaurant and found the food good and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty both days with a good choice.
on the plus side all the staff were brilliant very aproachable and helpful. They even showed us round the rooms in the older part of the hotel which are huge and very atmospheric all having four poster beds.
We all enjoyed our break and would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Just had a mini break in Whitby and stayed in 4 Bagdale, an annex of Bagdale Hall Hotel.
Lovely Georgian Building and our room was very cosy and warm with a big four poster bed.Large bathroom with big fluffy white towels. We had an evening meal in the hotel which was very nice but I felt a little pricey for what we had. The Hall itself was very atmospheric and I would certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Room 9 in 4 Bagdale was very quiet at the back of the building and on the ground floor for anyone no...

We to stopped her on a KGB deal. Bag dale hall is split into 3 buildings we stopped in the Lodge, our room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was good but you have to wait a while but it was busy. Ideal for the centre of Whitby. We walked to Robin hoods Bay which took approx 2 1/2 hours easy walking, had a few pints but because the weather had turned bad had a few more pints then the bus back to Whitby, the bus stops within a few yards of the hotel. we had a meal at Moutreys. an Italian near the Captain Cook museum which is excellent overall a great couple of days.

Room Tip: Take some ear plugs, the seagulls start up early in the morning and don't stop.

Went on a voucher for two nights my partner couldn't make it so went solo. Check in very quick went up to the lodge was very surprised how small the room was. It was spotless and nice shower room. It was throwing it down with snow. Went to bed and by 1 in the morning was freezing cold had to put my socks on!! Was in Room 23 and it was quiet but the rads didn't come back on until 7 in the morning by which time the room was so cold. Can,t comment on breakfast as at that point thought what's the point in wandering whitby alone in the snow. Will say I would go back as can not fault the cleanliness but it was not what I expected
