“Pretty much what you'd expect from a weatherspoons”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013 via mobile

A safe option of dinning in whitby. If your looking for decent value then you shouldn't find this far from the mark. The service is a impersonal and basic, but pretty familiar if you have ever visited a weatherspoons elsewhere.
The menu is varied, and the portions acceptable for the price. The specials menus mean a cheaper deal on a meal and a drink on certain night (at the moment Tuesday -steak, Thursday - Curry, Friday - Fish).

You will find better food, better service - and for some people, a better atmosphere, elsewhere in Whitby. But if you don't want to take a risk, this may be a good option.

“keep up the good work”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

had a few meals here during my weekend stay in whitby chicken korma and a seafood platter the grandkids had a huge plate of nachos between them, all food was delicious. The staff worked really hard to keep the tables clear it was really busy and the food came out surprisingling quick.

“Good meal”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Only been open a month apparantly, service VERY quick (meal came about 5 minutes after ordering) but wasn't the best I've had from a Wetherspoons.

Get some WD40 for that door!

Definitly a bargain for a pint and a burger for a fiver though.

“I love spoons!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013 via mobile

The food here is really nice although it could of been a bit hotter. Other than that, awesome! I also stayed in the hotel, the staff were very friendly and my room spotless!

“Cheap pub grub”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

This is your typical Weatherspoons place. It serves the standard menu, which has something for eveyone, even us hard to please vegetarians, at a very reasonable price. We have eaten here twice and although they have been busy, the service has been excellent. On Friday when we ordered they did say we would have to wait about 20 minutes but the food arrived within about 10. I have read other peoples reviews and have to say that this is a new restaurant in the centre of Whiby and of course people are going to want to try it out and yes, at busy times, such as a Sunday lunchtime, it will take longer to get seated and served but that is the price you pay for very cheap food and drink. If you can, I would advice getting a booth as they are so comfortable.
