It was cold and wet and we really wanted a cup of tea and some cake. All the cafes seemed jam packed when we chanced upon this little jewel of a tea shop (forgive the pun). It's situated right at the heart of the old town, near the abbey steps. Yes there is a sign on the wall (high up out of eye line) and a small board at the shop entrance, but all you see is a jewellery shop. Inside, through the shop and up the stairs is a wonderful little team room. When we left at 1.00 PM on a very busy Saturday lunch time, it was empty, which seemed so wrong.
