Visited this restaurant on the 3rd May 2013. We were very impressed from the start. We had booked a table for 7.30 but neednt have booked as for the first 15 minutes we had the run of the place. We ordered a starter each, my husband had chicken satay and said it was great but the satay sauce was served in a bowl while the chickn was cooked in something sweet - perhaps honey? I had the lamb which was fab.
For our main course we chose from the wok menu, I had beef in oyster sauce and the restaurant made it hotter than usual for me. My husband also had a beef stir fried dish which he really enoyed, we had side dishes of egg fried rice, fabulous noodles, and stir friend vegetables. I then was rather naughty and had a pudding of berry ice cream.
All the food was excellent but I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with the chose of desserts.
In addition to the food we also had two bottles of Tiger beer and I had two halves of shandy. We paid around $43 and felt it was well worth the cost.
We will definitely revisit this resturant when we return to Whitby and have already started spreadding the word.
