“FIRST CLASS !!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

We have recently stayed at Dillons for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the very start we were made to feel very welcome,
Our room was beautiful (Toulouse), breakfast perfect. Mat and Craig's local knowledge of the area was exceptional. Mat, Craig & ( Mabel ) are delightful hosts and deserve all the praise they get. :)

It's been a couple of years since we visited Dillons but it is just as good as ever, In fact it keeps getting better. They have deservedly just been awarded 5 stars and a breakfast award by Visit Britain. From the moment we walked in we were greeted like old friends and felt instantly at home. Mat and Craig are delightful and attentive hosts. The bedrooms are exceptional, all individual in design with lots of extra touches like quality iPod docks. The home made biscuits were scrummy too. Bathrooms are a great with quality fittings and tiling. White Company toiletries, bathrobes and big fluffy towels were as good as in any high end hotel. It's not surprising they have a breakfast award, a great selection of fruit, seeds, homemade granola and yoghurts were on offer to start and the cooked breakfast by Mat, using local produce was divine, service by Craig was of course entertaining and effortless! Hopefully it won't be so long until our next visit .

Room Tip: All rooms are stunning, we have stayed in them all.

We visited Dillons earlier in the year and enjoyed it so much that we returned for another visit on the 8 November for two nights. Matthew and Craig are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. Coffee and home made parkin in the afternoon was a lovely addition after our day in Whitby. We stayed in the Masi room which has had a `mini makeover', it was lovely before, but even more sumptuous now, the colours tone really well together and the bed is so comfortable it's hard to get out of in the morning. The granola is particularly good and breakfast is cooked to perfection, with a choice of alternatives if you don't fancy a traditional breakfast. Thanks for another lovely weekend Matthew and Craig, we'll be back!

Room Tip: We like the Masi room, this is at the back of the house and very quiet.

Perfect. Absolutely faultless! Matthew and Craig go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Their recommendations of places to eat, drink and visit were spot on. We would have no hesitation in recommending this B&B to others. The bedroom was tastefully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was delicious!

What a fantastic B&B, and well worth the money. We were greeted by the wonderful host with fresh coffee and homemade cake, while they took your bag to the room. The room was spacious and welcoming. The breakfast was worth getting up early for and set us up for the day. We will definitely be recommending to friends & Family.
