“Great. We now use this as our local.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

The first time we tried the food here it was obvious that flavour and not heat was the most important thing, you can taste each spice and ingredient even in the hotter dishes which sets them
Apart from anywhere else around here. Highly recommend.

“Would Recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

My wife and I visited this restaurant twice during our stay at Giggleswick near Settle in North Yorkshire.
The meal and service were excellent so much so the owner placed us in the window table on the second occasion due to the fact that we had come along way (from Australia).
At home we have Indian food at least once a week and I can say this was up with the best - what we liked was that it was a BYO.
We would recommend this restaurant to anyone - unfortunately I can't see us coming back as there is so much else in the world to see

“An average (only) Indian restuarant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

We acknowledged that we are spoilt, coming from the West Midlands where the standard (it being the home) of Indian resturants is good, but this one is poor. The gretaest critiism is of the standard of service. The waiters awareness and standard of customer service left much to be desired.
The main course appeared before we had finished our popadoms which were cleared away without a by-your-leave and without any form of courteous approach. Part of the issue, we felt, was that we were being rushed through our meal in order that they could get more customers in.
I'll leave the readers of this review to guess whether we would would go back there again.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

A great Indian, great service and a great feel to the place. All four of us said it was the best Indian food we had eaten. We couldn't have asked for more.

“Best Indian meal I've ever had!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013 via mobile

What a fabulous meal! And you can take your own wine/beer which makes it very inexpensive. I had the king prawn on purée followed by lamb passanda. My husband had the royal thali. Indian food to die for. Want to go back very soon and definitely will. Highly recommended but book your table as it can be very busy. You won't be sorry!
