“yorkshire 3 peaks haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

3 mates & I stayed for 2 nights to "do" the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge.
Our group weren't the most demanding of guests as we arrived about 7pm then headed off off to the pub for something to eat, We set off for our walk at 7am but the breakfast was top notch.

Very comfortable modern rooms maintained to a very high standard with nice touches such as cake left each day.
if you are visiting this area book here you wont be disappointed.

Room Tip: all 3 rooms are on the ground floor all are immaculate

We stayed in this beautiful B&B for 2 nights whilst completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge.
The B&B is beautiful and our room was finished to a very high standard. The home made cakes left in our room every afternoon were delicious and a lovely surprise.
The early breakfast on the day we completed the challenge was lovely but the cooked breakfast on our last day was fantastic - perfect to refuel after a 23 mile walk the day before!

My brother & I stayed for 1 night before attempting the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge. We weren't the most demanding of guests (arrived just after 7pm, off to the pub for something to eat, early night/early start next morning), but couldn't fault the accommodation (very comfortable - a home from home) or the food (a couple of pieces of cake in our room on arrival, lots of choice for breakfast - we left at 7am, so was cereal, porridge, croissant etc). One of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. Will definitely go back when walking in the area next.

My friends and I stayed at Broad Croft House recently while we were in Yorkshire doing the Three Peaks Challenge. This B&B is fantastic, it was immaculate and felt as though it was newly refurbished so we were surprised to find out that it had been open for three years. The rooms were very well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and there was plenty of variety, also we had to leave very early on the Saturday and breakfast cereals, croissants, etc were there for us to help ourselves. I would highly recommend this B&B for the facilities, cleanliness, breakfast and warm friendly welcome.

Don't usually stay at B&B's but this accomodation was booked by our walk leader. What a fab place to stay - the rooms were fresh, clean and extremely comfortable with a few extras : dressing gowns and slippers, home made biscuits and cakes daily, chocolates, bottled water and fresh flowers in the rooms. Thehome-cooked breakfast was and delicious and set us up for the day. Our party booked all 3 rooms so managed to have a peak at all of them - all done to the same high standard. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Good value for money

Room Tip: All rooms on ground floor, all furnished to same high standard, you can't fail to be impressed w...

We stayed for five nights at the end of April, rolling into May. If you are looking for a top grade place to stay, we felt that it would be hard to beat Broadcroft House anywhere. The house is warm and cosy, beautifully appointed in a contemporary style and extremely well run by Cynthia.

Everything is good and I would stay there again without hesitation. Lots of nice touches, home made and locally sourced food - we were very pleased to have stayed there.

For those who don't find stairs easy, all the guest rooms are on the ground floor. If you are looking to stay around Settle, go there.
