“Norwich sleep-over”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

I stayed for one night in this Travelodge. The Travelodge is situated close to the centre of Norwich, convenient for shopping.
The room was clean and functional.
I had an excellent beef lasagne in the café in the evening.
Travelodge offer 30 minutes free wifi (then it's £3 for 24 hours).

We stayed here once this year during March for a Birthday get-away and some shopping.
Ideally situated in the City Centre - Bus Station directly below/behind Hotel.
Within mins of InTu Shopping Centre and many Restaurants nearby.
Rooms are very average. Bed quite comfortable as promised in advert.
TV not worth bothering with, same for WiFi - better of using Mobile Internet instead, quicker and much cheaper. Free Wifi only available in Restaurant/Bar area.
Restaurant prices are okay but food was not always up to the quality you would expect.
Bar prices again okay, poor selection though.
We'd recommend eating and drinking out.
Breakfast not worth the cost each - selection of Cereals, Toast, Cooked Breakfast & Tea/Coffee/Orange Juice etc.
Ideal if you are looking for a base camp to use while exploring Norwich, offers good value and no frills Service.
Book online and well in advance for best price!

I stayed here for one night as I was on a weekend course. The hotel is centrally located so easy to get to. Because of its central location there were a lot of young people checking in the same time as me and I quickly realised the hotel is used as a base for large groups doing the clubs on a Saturday night.
The room was basic but clean and comfortable. On the downside, I was on 4th floor on the front of the hotel above the reception area, so it became very noisy outside around 4am when the clubs closed and the younger guests continued their revelry outside.
I would stay here again, but probably ask for a room at the back if staying on a Saturday night; if you can get a good deal on the price, its great value for a centrally located hotel.

Room Tip: Go for a room on the back if staying over a weekend

There is no parking facilitys for disable parking-blue badges. Also if you book online there no address of the travelodge on the printed form. Beware there are two travelodges in norwich. So beware if you ask people in the street for directions

We had a couple of days away in Norwich, booking hotel was very easy and the hotel was very clean, this hotel is great for the shops and very easy to get to from the bus station.

The rooms have great new beds and they are out of this world giving you a great night sleep better then some beds in a five star hotel.

Convenient location, close to shops, bars and reasonably close to station. Clean room and easy check-in. Silly omissions, such as no plug socket by the bed for charging phones, lack of full-length mirror and a poor choice of TV channels + no working 'guide' button on the TV caused me some annoyance. The lack of unlimited free wi-fi is pretty unacceptable, given that even budget hotels now offer this. No frills is fine - but penny-pinching rankles.
I didn't venture in to the cafe/bar, as it was a depressing-looking windowless room that only served pizza as a food option.
It was fine as a place to stay for one night - but not cheap and I'd look for an alternative next time.

Very reasonably priced and the bedroom was clean and the bed very comfortable with ironed sheets. The hotel lacked a welcome at the reception which was poor. Also we had to queue to get into the NCP car park adjoining the hotel. Did the job..

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the road.
