“Usual good standard”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2013

This Premier Inn adds to the list of many others I've used. Again, as expected standards were high. Meet and greet at reception was particularly good, everything well explained. We needed an extra towel which we requested at reception on our way out for a meal and was delivered to the room by the time we returned. Furnishings, standard of the passage ways, rooms and bathroom were all good. My only slight (and I mean slight) niggle was the area on the ground floor by the lifts was cold and draughty whilst waiting for a lift to arrive.

We've stayed in different Premier Inns on several occasions this year and have never been disappointed, so when visiting family in Norwich it was an easy choice due to previous experiences and the central location of the hotel. We will definitely use this hotel when visiting Norwich in the future.

This really is an ideal location for visiting Norwich. We come to Norwich often as my husband is a Norwich football supporter and to date we have always stayed in different hotels. From now on though we will always choose to stay here. It is close to everything and the free parking in next door St Andrews car park makes it great value. The room was good with a huge comfortable bed. Couldn't fault it. We didn't bother with breakfast in the hotel as there are so many nearby alternatives.

As the title indicates this is an excellent base for those wishing to tour not only the sights of North Norfolk including the Broads but also this historic city. The hotel is situated within fifty yards of The Lanes. This area dates back to medieval times and contains many small restaurants and bars. Worth a mention is The BreweryTap with its extensive range of ales as it says 'on tap'. As for retail addicts,Norwich is akin to heaven sent. The daily outdoor market is well worth a visit and many bargains can be found. For those who enjoy a theatre trip, the Theatre Royal programme is worth keeping an eye. Parking is free in the multi storey almost next door to the Premier Inn and this is manned 24/7. A super hotel for a super break whatever the season.

Room Tip: Select a room to the rear, they tend to be quieter although our friends who stayed in a front room s...

I stayed at this hotel after a gig at UEA, and it was everything we needed as a base for our weekend. The staff were friendly, and told us about the parking validation which knocked a significant amount off our weekend. It is a great location for Norwich city centre.

A great place to rest your head when visiting your child at Uni and taking in a little retail therapy. Staff always helpful and friendly. Always lots to do, especially with your Uni guide. Makes a great base for trying the lovely restaurants and cafés.

Only metres from the city centre and with free, secure, multi storey car parking close by, we love this hotel. How many city centre hotels with clean, comfortable rooms and pleasant helpful staff can you purchase for under £75 per night? I can't remember exactly but I think our nightly rate was under £50. It is excellent value for money. There is a restaurant on site which appears to be popular, we haven't eaten there but other guests have spoken highly of the food on offer. The hotel is secure with swipe card entry locks to access the lifts and most floors. It feels safe. Yes there is some road noise but you do expect that in a city centre. We don't look for anywhere else to stay it is our default setting when visiting Norwich. Give it a try.
