good value for money. No frills. Very clean and quiet. Location very good - we could walk everywhere we wanted to. There is a bar and café on site - again very clean. Breakfast - very no frills and felt a bit pricey for that.

Second visit here, rooms had been redone since previous visit. Not on the riverside but a short walk from the station across the river. Very convenient for access into the cathedral close.

Had second floor corner room (222) overlooking the road junction noisier than previous room but tolerable. Didn't eat or drink there on either occasion.

Stayed here in April 2015, the hotel isn't riverside its a short walk away but in a good location for the city. Its a basic hotel, the rooms are OK and what you would expect for the price.
The breakfast is a very sparse self service but OK

Overall its a budget hotel, well placed, nothing flash but for £50 a night in a city centre it is what you would expect so I have given a 4 rating not because the hotel is a quality one but based on the overall value for money and location.

The rooms are clean and hygenic. The staff is excellant and nice in their behaviour as well as duties. It is a hotel where you can live safly and secure. I can compare this hotel with the one where i am staying today in london and feel lot of difference in the environament although the cost is same. I think travel lodge central river side hotel in norwich is a good hotel.

A cheap, clean and comfortable budget hotel in the attractive Cathedral City of Norwich, located between the Railway Station and the City Centre.
One midweek night of Bed (and an all~you~can~eat buffet) Breakfast in April 2015, costing £65, represented good value for money.
My large room (#209 on the Second Floor, at the back of the hotel) was warm, comfortable, quiet and scrupulously clean with a spacious shower whose water temperature could be accurately controlled.
A kettle, cups and tea/coffee (but no biscuits!) are provided in each room and guests can use the fast and reliable Wi~Fi service free for thirty minutes each day.
The buffet breakfast was adequate in quantity with a good range of cereals plus yoghurts and muffins, apple or orange juice dispensed from a machine and lots of bread which you toasted yourself. The hot option comprised Bacon, Sausages, Scrambled Egg and Grilled Tomatoes only.
Check~in and Check~out was quick and efficient with friendly and helpful staff. Guests use a Key Card to open external and internal doors, allowing access at night when the main door is locked.
The Norwich Riverside Travel Lodge is located a short walk (five minutes) from both the Railway Station, the Cathedral, the Castle and the main shopping and leisure centres.
I would certainly stay there again when next in Norwich.

Room Tip: Back of the hotel away from the main road.

Room suffered from a lot of outside noise: cars throughout the night and people leaving night clubs. I'm not one to complain as normally sleep like a baby so must have been loud to affect me. Breakfast poor. Should have gone to Tescos/ Costa.

Stayed here a month ago. Bare minimum room with TV so fine, bed is comfy. No fridge or free wifi which is a bummer but good place to stay location wise. Was a bit pricy considering the no free wifi but I think there was a football event on close by so it was rather busy!
