“Wine+Food+Fun+History+Cheap!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

Open every day: 11am to 11pm, so it's always a good choice. Said to be the oldest bar in London. Award winning wine list. Great ambiance. Full of stories and history, food, wine and happy people around. In front of it there's a very nice little park.

“Dark, Damp Cave”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014

Didn't stay so can't comment beyond the atmosphere which I did not find appealing. Most people seemed to be outside which looked ok but not great.

“what a place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

GORDONS is definitely the best wine bar in London! I've been here almost every week when I was living in London. Great cheese and burger selection.
In Gordons you can find from cheap to expensive wine (French, Italian, American...) and load of different ports!
The location is amazing, just few minutes walking from trafalgar square and you'll end up in a place where there is not such thing as time! Looks like being in the 19th century! Baudelaire would have loved it!

Thanks to the managers Gerard, Joao and Nico to let me feel at home!

“Time it Relax!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Ordered a sandwich and drinks. Relaxed in view of Big Ben, London Eye, and the Parliament. Right at the foot of the bridge between Big Ben and the London Eye. Good atmosphere and plenty of relaxation.

“Quirky, good wine, cheapish food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014 via mobile

Just eaten here and had a couple of glasses of wine (both smooth, nice tasting) cool underground atmosphere, with a tavern feel, candle lit, and great selection of wines. I'm not the biggest wine drinker and they managed to find us two lovely wines to taste. Plenty of of cheese on the basic platter for £9.50.
