“A Local Jewel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

Having always struggled for a decently priced local eatery around Chelsea FC, having read some good reviews here on Trip Advisor, we figured we would give Lots Road Pub and Dining Room a try. From the moment we entered to, to the moment we left we encountered great service, lovely food, and great wine !

Being enthusiastic, if not always totally knowledgeable wine lovers, we decided to take some advice from the lovely South African barman on what would be a good dry white wine to have - he suggested, what turned out to be a delicious South African (not surprisingly lol) Chenin Blanc- Suiker Bossie I want you, around £22 a bottle but worth every penny, and was good enough to let us try it first before making our decision.

All three of us went for two courses, with two of us having the camembert with fresh bread, and the other the pate - all of which were nice, but the camembert was probably a little too filling, for soeone like me who doesnt have a particularly hearty appetite.

For the main course, again two of us had the fish and chips which was absolutely to die for ! and the other the sausage and mash, again which was some of the nicest he had ever had...

Service was efficient and friendly, but there was no rushing us out when we had finished, and the rest of the dining room was beginning to clear.

It is located near the entrance to the Chelsea Harbour area, and with many other restaurants locally, being somewhat overpriced in our opinion, Lots Road is definitely worth a try. Also it is only about ten/fifteen mins walk from Fulham Broadway tube station on the District Line, and about five mins walk from Kings Road. If you are walking from that direction, you need to keep walking past all the furniture stores on Lots Road, and you will eventually come to the restaurant on your left hand side on the corner.

There is also free wi-fi available.

Worth reserving a table if you want to eat in the dining room area rather than the bar as seems to get pretty busy at lunchtimes.

All in all we were definitely impressed and will return, friendly, efficient service, reasonable cost around £20 each for two courses, and a nice atmosphere. Well done !

“Overpriced, not very tasty so many better options about.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

Came for Sunday roast which at £15 each was pretty steep especially given small amount of lamb offered, taste of chicken non existant. Potatoes undercooked, all in all very disappointing.

“Pre Football Dinner food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

Ate here several times before going to Chelsea with family and with clients. Better than average pub food. Good atmosphere right next to imperial wharf and an easy walk to Stamford Bridge.

“Consistent local”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

As I often work near by my meals here must be close to fifty in number. The food is consistently good, had a cracking shepherds pie last month. The staff are always charming, even when run off their feet. It's kind of our fall back position but it rarely disappoints.

“Fantastic food, wine, atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Lots Road is one of our locals and by far our favourite. It has everything you want in a local gastropub. Fantastic food (never had a bad meal there) that changes seasonally at great prices, great wine list, lots of beer on tap, and a really lovely chilled atmosphere. Staff are always friendly; you can opt for table service or head up to the bar, whatever you prefer really. Well worth a visit!
