4th time eating Sunday evening dinner at this gastropub, and it was as good as always. Managed to book the day before (unusually, we've needed longer before), arrived a little early, seated right away, and we both had Cornish sardines followed by the beef for two. The bread is very nice indeed (some made there, others bought in from good baker), service prompt and friendly, and a good choice of options. Long wine list, we had (and recommend) the La Paix red which is superb. Puddings good (we had malt tart), but we missed some hot pastry-based options now the winter months are coming along.
As before, every time we come here we realise what a step up in quality it is for really around the same price (and in some cases cheaper) than many of the places in Earls Court which we frequent.
Definitely recommend. If you know the area, it's an easy walk from Fulham Broadway or West Brompton tubes, otherwise the streets can be a bit of a warren so taxi might be wise.
