Came here for my husband's birthday and overall we had a great time. There's a very American vibe with checked tablecloths, neon signs outside and of course the requisite lobster bibs. Hubby's crab claws to start were delicious, fresh and flavourful. I didn't dig my wings that much because they were too spicy for me (probably the name 'Voodoo Wings' should have been a red flag), but if you're into spice then they're the closest thing I've had to American wings here in the UK. We all had the Lobster Festival, which at £19.95 for a massive lobster, bucket of fries, salad and a beer is pretty much the best deal in town. The lobster was amazing and meaty, and the sauces they brought to go with them - drawn butter, hollandaise, sweet chili and thermidor - were so good I could've eaten them on their own! This place is well worth it for lobster lovers, and the bill came to £150 for four people, which included four starters, four Lobster Festivals and a four extra drinks (on top of the complimentary beer).
My only minor complaint is the lackluster service. Our waiter was a bit obnoxious and told us as soon as we sat down that he was really tired...not a great start! My margarita that came with my lobster never materialized, but I didn't bother to complain as I was enjoying my wine. I'd still recommend this place, though - you don't go to Big Easy for Michelin-star service, you go for the seafood!
