Description: The original restaurant to be opened by the Galvin brothers, the Bistrot was an overnight success with food critics and customers alike. Bistrot de Luxe has won several prestigious awards, amongst them Best French Restaurant for 2 years running, as well as top awards from the AA and Tatler Magazine. With their Michelin-starred backgrounds, Chris and Jeff Galvin bring top quality French cuisine at affordable prices, with their flair for sourcing the best seasonal ingredients, and over 30 years of culinary experience between them. Today, the bistrot still retains much of its original ethos. Chef Patron, Chris Galvin, together with Head Chef, Luigi Vespero, offer a seasonally-inspired French menu, comprising many bistrot classics. Few restaurants in London have managed to emulate the success of this timeless classic.

“Fine dining with "Sherlock Holmes"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Situated in Baker Street near all the exclusive expensive shops. Easily reached by underground or bus.
Parking outside if you lucky, but spaces available in neighbouring streets.
We were greeted by friendly helpfull staff and shown quickly to our table. Reservations recommended, especially at the weekend.
French cuisine and silver service at its best with a limited menu. Quite pricey, but a set menu is available, again limited.
'Vibey' with a beautiful calming decor and background music.
Recommended for that special evening out
If you can manage a desert, the Tarte Tatin, house speciality, is an absolute must!

“French food & service for all pallets”

Had a very nice dinner here. Good entre selections, an extensive wine list, and bread to die for. Will eat here again.

“BCF LUNCH”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Why is a parisienne bistro serving mozzarella as a starter? I think salad nicoise would have been more appropriate.

“good food and service without drama”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Located about halfway down Baker Street this is a hidden gem for business lunch or dinner. I visited for a business lunch about a week ago and found it to be just right for my needs. Staff are helpful and attentive but discreet. Food is well cooked and the menu is reasonably extensive with something for everyone. Now that I have found it I will definitely re-visit for business and leisure. I booked for 1.30pm lunch but arrived an hour early. I was accommodated immediately without fuss or problems.
