“really bad food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

The waiters try hard and they are really friendly and efficient, but the food is just really bad - and don't fall for the fish and chips which is pretty indigestible. The atmosphere is your average British pub and the location is - truth be told - perfect.

“Lovely English pub for people watching”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Covent Gardens are always busy and packed. We popped into this little pub for a relaxing pint and to people watch. Inside the pub is very small, and no seating area outside, but like in a lot of London pubs, people seem to all stand outside drinking their drink and watching the world go around.

The bar staff were very friendly and served us quickly. They also didnt hesitate in allowing me to sample some beers which id not tried before, before settling on the pint of my choice.

Certainly would return here again.

“Doombar - sums it up!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2012

Great pub, had a pint of Doombar I say a pint I needed a ladder to get to it! A lot of profit in the half an inch and inch of froth, beer was good when you got to it. Didn't eat food usual 'homecooked' frozen chips etc. Staff helpful but seem depressed? A smile goes a long was, I say if you see someone without a smile give them on of yours. Well located for a meal suggest a change in the menu.

“Great Fish & Chips”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

Nice place for a quick simple authentic taste of London's food and beverages.Typical pub on the ground floor and restaurant on the upper floor. Small and cramped but friendly service, food served rather quickly and very enjoyable.
