“Best kept secret”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

I have been going to this restaurant for years and it never fails to deliver excellent food. The emphasis here is on the food and not the decor which you would expect to be sumptious given the prices! However thr portions are huge and therefore it is good value for money.

“Wow!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

4 of us went for dinner on Saturday night here. We went off the backing of other reviews on here, and weren't disappointed.
We were greeted by a very friendly lady who showed us to our table, and was very attentive throughout the service.
As we were ordering, she pointed out that we maybe ordering slightly more than we need as the portions are big, and she was right! Very generous portions indeed, and it was really nice of her letting us know, saving us a little bit of money.

The food was stunning. Hot, quick service, so so tasty.

It's so nice to find little gems like this. They are ones to note, and revisit next time you're in the area.

When we were about to leave, a lady came over, thanked us for coming, opened the door for us, and wished us a good night. It's top service from start to end, that makes the whole experience leaving you feeling valued, happy, and full :)

“good food lovely place to eat”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Was pleasantly surprised at how good and affordable the food was... wonder how they made those little pork dumplings that oozes out with soup the moment you bite and they were absolutely amazing... just watch out for the scalding soup.
Huge portions!

“Excellent Char Kway Teow and tea, £8 inc service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

Genuine looking Chinese between High Holborn and Theobalds Road. Quite nice old London district for tourists jaded with Covent Garden and wanting original shops - see Lambs Conduit Street, and nice quiet old fashioned pubs, cofees and quieter pace of life.
Kam Fung greeted me a lone diner with a small table at back, nice choice of cantonese lunches.
Portions large.
Kwai Teuh fried fat (ho fun/chinese tagliatelle type noodles) noodle dish a real hit, lots of chicken, egg, shrimps, bits of pork, bean shoots and generous toppings of raw shallots and fresh coriander. There was a naughty soy sauce and chili kick to the sauce, which meant it was impossible to stop eating. Accompaniment of chinese tea (75p) per teapot, helped this process. One or two regulars were treated in the manner of returning friends, and others lunches looked large and the Hainanese Chicken Rice would be worth investigation
