“Perfect ambience, great food, professional service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

I visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon when the place was very busy, despite that we were showed the lounge sofa to wait for the table few minutes which actually took max 5 min. When we got to the actual table lovely staff introduced the menu. Every single waiter or waitress were very professional. Were looking after the tables very well and approaching often so anytime we wanted something we got very fast. The food was fresh and delicious and pretty fast as it was very busy time. From time to time manager was taking care of our table which I felt very flattering. The whole restaurant is huge! One of the biggest I saw and also well maintained, neat and comfortable. We enjoyed staying there for over 5 hours :). Great place to enjoy evening with friends or romantic evening as well ;)

“A brilliant friendly restaurant.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

We celebrated our daughter's 21st Birthday here last month. We were a mixed group of 45 people; some young, some elderly and some middle aged. The food was prepared to our specification, service was exceptionally good. We all had a fantastic time. All our guests went home very happy and content.

“Manager Ashish's Attitude Disgraceful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013 via mobile

We arrived as a party of seven at the restaurant to be told by the Manager Ashish that he wouldn't serve us. All because one of the party complained how bad one dish was a year ago and he remembered him. I really do not have words that explain how this rude, disgraceful attitude by the Manager Ashish made us feel. I travel the world and have eaten in restaurants high and low over the last 45 years, and I am lucky enough to be looked after by American Express concierge who always find me the best places. Never have I seen anyone been treated this way in any restaurant. It's such a shame as we have heard the food is good. How the owners can make this business run with such rude staff I do not know.

“Great food from innovative menu.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

This big, noisy, family friendly place presents a surprising menu - Indian with interesting Chinese additions that seems to work.

Our big party had a great meal, although the service needed an occasional reminder at times.

“Food is decent...but so many children running about...and cafe seating!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

We had been recommended the restaurant by some colleagues and regular customers. We decided to try out the restaurant, and thought that Sunday would be a little quieter than the Friday or Saturday. How wrong we were!!!!

The restaurant was the equivalent of a children's playground. There were screaming kids everywhere, running around, dancing in the aisles, even climbing up the fish tank, with a woman sat right next to them. The staff did nothing to stop them! How bizarre!!!

We were sat near the entrance in what seemed to be a cafe style area. However, we were ordering food? It all seemed very confused. The table was too small to put drinks on, let alone main meals. The whole part of that restaurant seemed like they wanted to go down the coffee/drinks/bar type route, but forgot that people went there for the food.

Service was slow. It took 20 mins to be asked about drinks, and the starters came before the drinks did! It was really disappointing.

The only saving grace is that the food comes in good portions and is pretty good. We had 5 starters when we only need 2, and could only get through 1 of the main dishes. Everything is pretty spicy though. Chilli Paneer was good. Karahi Ghost was extremely spicy.

Overall- it was tight between giving this a 2* and a 3* and the quality of food and ease of parking pushed it to a 3. But if you're planning to come here for a nice and relaxed romantic dinner, then definitely look elsewhere!
