This really is a 'hole in the wall' style accommodation. My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in a room stated to be self catering. It was on the third floor but there is a working lift. The room is small as is the bathroom, and the self catering comprises a small fridge, sink, microwave and a few cutlery and crockery items. There is also a jug and cups and glasses. We got by because we basically just used this as a base and we were so tired at night that we just crashed. The heater worked great as did the TV. Breakfast was adequate but if you are late you have to wait. Pluses are it is a walk to two railway stations and to Westfield London Shopping Complex which is really great.
Cleaning staff were very good as were the kitchen staff.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back of the hotel away from the roadway. It is very quite. Go to breakfast early...

Where do I start? This place is the worst place I have ever stayed at in London. The room was terrible not very clean and so small you could hardly move I had a single room at the front of the hotel and traffic noise was terrible since its on the main road. I asked the man at reception to be moved but he was not interested and ignorant he hardly could speak any English
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone avoid at at costs.

We booked for 2 nights, plans changed at last minute so couldn't make first night but still needed second. Turned up to check in at 5.30pm to be told no rooms as we didn't show up and the room was no occupied. This was not done with any attempt a customer service, chap on reception downright rude and ready to kick out young female solo guest in dark with no further assistance. After a painful phone call with the hotel, mostly using words of one syllable, and after offering to pay for a room (£85 on top of £160 we'd already paid for original 2 night booking), miraculously a free room was found. To add insult to injury at nearly midnight we received an email from booking.com to advise us that we hadn't shown and we would be charged our original booking fee of £160. We did turn up - 4 hours before receiving this email.
If you want bad service and to be regally ripped off , I couldn't recommend a better place,

Made a booking for two nights as seemed reasonable however needed to change the date, unable to amend on booking so cancelled and rebooked new dates both transaction done one after the other. I've been charged a £10 cancellation fee ( which no other hotel charges ) and when requested a refund as made a replacement booking the refused saying policy. This is a total rip off and shows no positive customer service approach and clearly they chase the money over service.

Paid £103 on Late Rooms for this " recently refurbished 3 star hotel" but wish I had read the Trip Adviser reviews first. However my experience was not as bad as others mentioned. Staff all from overseas with limited English. Man on reception had not been to charm school. My room had a working microwave, fridge, air conditioning unit and TV. No chair or wardrobe apart from a DIY type of standing open shelf so the overall effect was shabby. Self service buffet breakfast of orange juice/applejuice, muesli/corn flakes, processed cheese slices, hard boiled eggs, toast, and tea/coffee. This is the sort of place that gives London a bad name.

Room Tip: Don't bother going there!

Do not stay at this hotel! It's a complete rip-off for a run-down hotel with small rooms with outdated decor. The walls are stained, the bathroom ceiling had stains, the walls had cracks. Although the advertising says it's airconditioned, the air con was out in the hotel when we stayed in mid-Sept (and other travellers from mid-August said the same, indicating that the problem had been there for at least a month without being addressed.) As our room opened to the noisy street, we were unable to get more than a couple hours' sleep. The receptionist said that there was nothing he could do as no other rooms were available. When I emailed the manager, he did not respond. When I went to see the manager in person, he was rude and arrogant and showed no interest in customer service or satisfaction.

Room Tip: if you want a good room, do not stay at this hotel.
