Packed with people all eager for a seat at the bar or the few tables on Frith St. The wait was not too trying, allowing for our lovely waitress who ensured we had cold beers and titbits until seats became free. As always with the Hart brothers, the produce was of the best quality, cooked with real understanding and love. The staff were lovely, despite being rushed off their feet in the busy, small space - always a smile - which counts for a lot when there is a lengthy wait involved. If you have a theatre date planned, make sure you are there early enough to find a seat and enjoy your food in a leisurely manner - AND inform the staff, they will or advise which dishes cook times fall within your time frame. Ox tongue and aoili was delicious as was the octopus. The croquetta balls were melting and creamy. The quality of the sliced meat platter was excellent - all washed down with cold beer served in chilled glasses - a lovely touch.
A good place for authentic Spanish tapas, and another winner for the Hart bros.
