“Breakfast was just superb.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

Second visit here for breakfast, and still as good. Go early to get a table, but well worth it. The poached eggs with yoghurt and chilli butter shouldn't work, but is probably my wife's favourite breakfast ever ( especially with a side order of bacon).

“Fabulous flavour combinations, beautifully presented”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

My husband and I had a celebratory lunch here, and had exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for. The downstairs Tapa bar was heaving, so the upstairs dining room seemed a haven of tranquility in comparison, but still had an excellent vibe thanks to the very friendly, smiley waiter who looked after us brilliantly. You can tell the quality of a restaurant by the bread, and things looked very promising from the start - great sourdough and other delicious rolls. We ordered a carafe of wine, thinking a bottle might be a bit much at lunchtime, but it was so good we ended up ordering another - woops!! As stated by previous reviewers, the food offers unusual and delicious combinations of flavours, and several unknown ingredients, but you feel everything has been chosen for its flavour, not out of a desire to be "foodie" or pretentious.
If you are happy to splash out, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait for an excuse to go back!

“Good food & atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

Very good tapas and great service. Experience only spoiled by drunken city type who manged to knock food out of waiters hands and break glasses. Portions aren't huge and so we ordered what seems like quite a few dishes, Ate on the heightened stool/ communal area which was fine. Good ambience.

“Fantastic for brunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

This place always has a lot of ppl and a great vibe - most importantly FANTASTIC food.
They have a really interesting menu with unique flavours that taste so great.
The coffee is also very yum and the staff are vibey and rushing around - fun vibe, very sociable.
There is usually a queue-but it is worth it.
The space inside is small but cosy - i always look forward to going - dont hesitate - GO!
