“100% vegetarian!! Best salad bar & falafel! Mainly Healthy!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

Where can i start.....

You have so many choices that its hard too choose, i had the falafel with aubergine, avacado and unlimited salad. They have like 25 different types of salad and you can keep refilling anytime.

You dont have to have the falafel in pitta, you can go the salad bar alone and have a delicious but health meal. All my friends loved it... Been there 5times now.

Their fresh lemonade is also really refreshing and worth having a go.

The only negative foe me, is that i did not like the belgian chips. But thats my opinion.

The staff are really helpful and good service.

The cafe is not that big, probably sits around 20people. But its right in the heart of soho.

I would go keep going back for the salad bar as thier variety is everything i would want!

“Healthy junk food yes please”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Best falafel hands down anywhere. Maybe it's the range of sauces over at the free salad bar: the tahini and the spicy coriander/ spinach are my favourite. One of the few places in the centre where you can get proper chunky Flemish fries as well. Proof cheap meals don't have to be gross junk food !

“healthy and cheap fast food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

We have been here twice, after having been to branches in Paris and Barcelona (which were very good). We had voucher deals which gave us falafels in pitta plus unlimited toppings, although we paid a little extra to also have aubergine. The falafels were great and there was a range of fillings and sauces, such as tabbouleh, chillies, corn, mushrooms, carrots, and yummy fried cauliflower. I also bought lemonade with mint on my second visit, which was very good. The menu is always the same with a few variations (e.g., you get falafel in pitta or in a box but you always get unlimited toppings). The concept is simple, but you probably wouldn't want to go there too often or you'd get bored. The tables and floor are a little sticky, so don't wear your best clothes. My top tip is to get loads of toppings and use a fork to eat them until you can safely bite into your pitta, otherwise food will go everywhere!

“Best fast food in Soho”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012 via mobile

Have been coming here off and on for over a decade, since discovering the chain in Amsterdam. If you want something quick, cheap, and filling it is ideal. The falafel is probably a little better than average, the humus ditto. What makes Maoz awesome is the unlimited trips to the salad bar to top off your pitta. The salads are always great, especially the cauliflower and carrots. The Belgian style frites are also nice, although sometimes a little overdone...having said that, if you take full advantage of salad bar refills you won't need the chips.

“Falafel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

I ate there several time. Last time, I had a problem with my stomach after eating there. Otherwise, food seems to be good. I was probably unlucky or I would give it another try to be sure if the head is hygienic, or the salad being out too long!! Not sure.
