“Good Views and Good Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

Took my friend here for a christmas treat on our christmas shopping date! Planned this surpise and was a real treat. Although the concierge downstairs wasnt very helpful when we asked if the heights restaurant was within the building, the staff in the restaurant were helpful. The food was really nice and they had the champagne was a nice treat! Views are amazing would be good at night or on new year! Was only £11 each on a living social deal and was really worth it! plenty of food for the price!

“Excellent views, good food, excellent service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

Booked for an evening meal with family at the Heights. The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor is pleasant and comfortable - and of course the views are great. The menu is limited but we found the food to be very good indeed, across all 3 courses - and this was made better by the service, which was excellent. Prices pretty much as you would expect. We all agreed we will definitely come back here again - a bit of a hidden gem in the centre of town.

“Grossly overpriced. Even the staff were embarrassed.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014 via mobile

We went for a living social special offer for afternoon tea. The views were very good and the restaurant is reasonably furnished.

The cost was. £11 with the deal full price it was £22 per person.

You expect afternoon tea to have a selection of cakes on a cake stand and a few rounds of sandwiches of a selection of white or brown bread.
Not here. We got one white bread finger. Approx 1/3 round of ham and tomatoe. One finger of egg mayo. One finger of smoked salmon and cream cheese. The menu said turkey but they didn't have any. There were no cakes. Just two of the smallest mince pies I have ever seen, not a lot bigger than a penny in diameter. Also three strawberries and cream made to look like Santas. This was all served together on one plate. A pot of tea or coffee was also included and an alcoholic drink as well. We then asked if we could have some more sandwiches. As the three mouthfuls given were not enough. They said the chef isn't here so they can't make any. A chef to make a sandwich? After some discussion, we got three more fingers. :-0. . The staff said they understand about the value and tried to be helpful to us.
The place could be great but the management is obviously rubbish. They have a good place with views but aren't going to make any money the way things are run.
The ladies toilets have also seen better days. The carpet is shabby and worn anthem doors and fittings are in poor condition.

Was a very disappointing experience for the four of us.

“Afternoon tea”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

My friend managed to get us a voucher for Christmas afternoon tea here. The venue itself was quite easy to get too, not far from Oxford Street. On arrival we took the lift to the top and went in. The service was friendly, though it was not very clear where to go when you get there, we went to the bar, hoping that would be correct and it was. We had a lovey seat by the window and the view was absolutely fantastic.
The afternoon tea arrived and was average. It all came on one plate, and although nice I would have been dissapointed if I'd paid full price for it.
The venue itself was nice and clean and there were plenty of staff on hand to help with anything.
Overall although this was a nice place to go, but I will not be rushing back, the best bit about it is the views.

“High but not so mighty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

We had a quick drink in here before supper. I was expecting it to be a bit more swanky, as it looked rather tired and like a Little Chef inside.

Good views and worth a visit, if only to escape the hustle and bustle of the West End.
