“Cheap, cheerful and utterly delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

Bank Holiday Sunday night - Central London.

We found this little place on Tripadvisor as we wanted to stay away from the Carnival crowds. Turned up and could sit outside, lovely in a nice warm Sunday evening.

Orders were taken and everything was very friendly. Starters came extremely quickly, but clearly freshly cooked. Dumplings and steak were both of good quality and nice flavours.

Mains came soon as well, but they left us enough of a gap so as not to follow it too quickly. Drunken noodles and red curry, and a chicken green curry. Generous portions, lots of flavours and especially the noodles, extremely full of flavour. Food was also piping hot, which is something I find important.

One minor gripe is that the table was a bit too small, it got a little cramped with dishes and drinks on there!

Service was swift, friendly and efficient, and all in all we had a yummy meal, sat outside in Central London, 2 courses, 2 people, and 4 soft drinks, and the bill came to well below £50! Outstanding value for money, yet no compromise on quality of flavour. A little gem of a find, and would gladly pop back in when I am near there next time.

“Great little thai restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

We ate at this excellent restaurant two days running because the food was so good.First day we had an alfresco evening meal including a beautiful sea bass starter and the second day we had the fantastic late lunch menu which they serve until 5.00pm. An absolute steal, good pad thai, beef with ginger, fish cakes and money bags for £16.00! Some of the best thai food we have experienced. Highly recommended.

“Delicious meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

Tasty, authentic Thai food, with very generous portions at surprisingly reasonable prices. I had a lovely dumpling soup to start, followed by a delicious curry and noodles. Everything was beautifully fragrant. The service was great. If you like Thai, this place is definitely worth a visit.

“Great value Thai in Central London”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

This is a good little restaurant for lunch or dinner. The dishes are fresh, spicy, typical Thai fare. You won't find any gastronomic surprises here but you can expect to be satisfied with what you get: well prepared, good value food. There are plenty of veggie options: the corn cakes and drunken fried rice with tofu are my favourites and are moreish. If you're not scared of heat they'll throw in some extra chillies and make it super hot :P

Its busier during the week than at the weekends as people tend to head there for lunch or go after work. It gets really busy during Fri lunch so book ahead. Try to get a table upstairs as the decoration isn't so nice downstairs and it can get very loud. However, that doesn't detract from the food. Next time you're near Tottenham Court Road walk past the dross noodle bars and fast food places, head to Charlotte St and get yourself some Siam Central - your tastebuds will be much happier!

“Great food at reasonable prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

Great Thai food that is full of flavour - very tasty. Service is very good from friendly staff. Restaurant is popular and gets quite full. Tables are very close together so it does get rather cramped at times. Prices are very good when considering the quality of what you get. If you don't mind being crammed in, then this place is great. If you prefer more space, then call in early to avoid the crowd.
