Late'ish on Friday evening, very full, loud but a very happy buzz. The service was attentive and not too slow considering how busy they were. The partridge starter was delicious, and the terrine was also very good.
Paid the extra £6 for the Chateaubriand which was cooked perfectly. And we both love the BIG chips, which were pipping hot. Deserts good, but not really why you go there.
Ok, its £42.50 for three courses now which with the 12.5% service charge makes it close to £100 for two without any alcohol, but this is still the best cooked food in Chiswick (if not West London).
Matthieu, the sommelier, is extremely knowledgeable, and since the wine list changes on a regular basis is very good at helping to choose something new that fits ones palate. He once again hit the spot.
Finally, congratulations to Adele who has just given birth.
