“Lunch 18th August”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

Booked lunch for three back in November, long wait with high expectations, but not disappointed. The entrance hall is quite severe in black marble, but the small dining room is intimate and warm without being too noisy. All the staff are there to serve you and you are in no doubt that it is their pleasure to serve. Complex dining options are well explained, we chose the menu prestige seven course meal, and selected courses from across the menus. All the courses were exceptional, both in taste and particularly in presentation. The ras el hanout infused broth with my halibut was extraordinary. The gap between 2 and 3 star is not always clear, but this meal bridged it with ease.

“Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

Had lunch here recently. Everything was exceptional. I had the set lunch and my husband had the a la carte. Aside from the food, the most exceptional thing was the staff and their service. We felt at ease and they did everything they could without being overbearing. A real treat.

“Amazing food, impeccable service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014

This is our 3rd visit and we were not disappointed. Brioche was delicious. Potato and egg ravioli had an amazing sauce. Pork and halibut mains were superb. We had a sharing plate of desserts and would recommend the tart tatin as the best we have ever tasted, so much so we don't order anywhere else now as it always disappoints in comparison. Service is impeccable. Complimentary cold summer soup, passion fruit drink and sweets were all amazing. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary special. We will be back!

“Nice evening!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2014

Went here for the first time on a Monday evening and had a fabulous meal. A well organised machine from entering the restaurant till you leave. It doesn't come cheap but it is well worth the experience. The restaurant was full up and with a nice ambience, at times we felt it was slight rushed and few many waiters entering the table. Had dishes from the a la carte and our favourites was seared foie gras starter and pork main course. (suckling pig 5 ways) would go back any time.

“A serious experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

Had a late night long dinner which is the way to go! The service is impeccable and probably the best I have had in any restaurant. Myself and partner went for the top tasting menu and paired it with some champagne and a good French Pinot noir since there was a lot of fish on the menu. Of the 5 dishes on the menu some were very good and a few were rather average. You could see lots of work and preparation had gone into it and always full marks for presentation however there is nothing more to say other than that some of them were just not very exciting, often lacking in wow flavour. The Hors d'Oeuvres and breads on the other hand were top dollar.

All in all a great experience but Petrus (sister resaurant) was our favourite.
