“Never misses”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

Have been coming to here since it first opened and have never had a bad experience.
Were here for a meal with our family as a pre-Christmas treat and the food was the best so far!
The food is of a consistently high quality and any special dietary requests are easily accomodated. Patra, who is front of house, is always warm and welcoming and service is attentive without being intrusive. Cannot believe how lucky we are to have this restaurant in the heart of our community!

“Brilliant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

Dinner here was a real treat- in every way. The food is superb- not that it comes cheap, but is worth every penny. The menu changes every day, so tantalising you with stories of beef with foie gras, slow roasted pig belly, kidneys as a starter, etc will do no good as it may well not be the same. The service is extraordinarily good, the staff knowledgeable and approachable- worth a special mention are the sommelier and the guy in charge of the cheese board- incidentally one of the best I imagine you will find. A great meal.

“Excellent in nearly every way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Have been here and sister restaurant a few times.
On last recent visit the depth of flavours was tremendous and the cooking was faultless. Huge wine list. Great service. A bit noisy but it's OK and gives a lively rather than reverential atmosphere.
Minor quibbles are that the evening menu is now quite expensive for what it is and portions are a little on the small side. Also the wine list is now at 4-5 times the shop price which is getting ridiculous, the Sommelier is great but that cost is covered by the 12 1/2% service charge.
For those on a budget lunch is excellent value

“Excellent Rugby Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

The Glasshouse offer the perfect set lunch for Twickenham Rugby Internationals including organising taxis to get to the ground after the meal. Its a three course meal and is always of a high standard. They let you know by email about mid week what the courses are and if you don't like something they'll usually provide an alternative. It's very popular and always full so it's worth booking up well in advance.

“Significant improvement”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012

Have had lunch or dinner here from time to time, but always thought the food lacked something in comparison to the Trompette. Well not now. Had an excellent lunch there this week and thought the menu and the quality of the food had improved to almost Trompette standards.

The belly pork with black pudding as a main was oustanding and the rest of the meal was thoroughly enjoyable.
