Description: Challenging the notion that Indian cuisine can only be created using age-old recipes and ideas, The Cinnamon Club demonstrates how evolution and adaptation can create a new chapter in gourmet excellence. Housed in the Grade II listed former Westminster Library, a stone’s throw from London’s Westminster Abbey, The Cinnamon Club’s neo-colonial feel fits perfectly with its distinctive style of Indian haute cuisine.

“Delicious satisfying and sumptuous food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

I tried the Mary Pickford cocktail, the chicken, the lamb and the sorbet on the set menu.

I enjoyed everything greatly. The flavours and tastes combined with the exquisite attention to detail made this a meal I'll remember and treasure for a long time.

I admit after trying lunch and reading the reviews I'm tempted to try the breakfast menu sometime.

Modern Indian cooking with a twist. Every morsel tantalised the taste buds. I can't wait to return and try out the breakfast menu!

“Ultimate Indian Restaurant in London”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Been to this place on couple of occasions but their wine and spice dinnere created exclusively for a small group are the best experience you can enjoy. Great value for a 5 course meal with wine, drinks and nibbles will cost you just GBP90 pp whereas any other high end restaurant in london will charge you no less than 150-200 quid. Irrespective of the price, great combination and pairing of dishes with wines, excellent knowhow of Indian cuisine by Mr Singh and their wine expert.
Service was meticulous and unobtrusive.
Will reccomend everyone to visit this best Indian restaurant once in their lifetime.

“Atypical Indian restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Had read the very positive reviews and wasn't disappointed. It was a Tuesday but the restaurant was packed. I did manage to get a place after a brief wait in the pleasant bar lined with book shelves. The restaurant is located in a lovely building (former Westminster Library) and serves fresh but Indian food with a twist. I opted for the set meal which was partly mediocre (the rice dumpling & the fish) but largely good (the chicken breast, the lamb curry, the sorbet). The service was very attentive and unobtrusive. I would definitely recommend the restaurant but it isn't your traditional Indian eating place.
