“Great Food, Great Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014

This is one of my favorite pubs in London. The outside is beautiful with lots of flowers. Inside is historic and comfy. The Thai food is excellent, fairly priced, and in large portions.

“Great Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

Great pub, both inside and out with loads of interesting artefacts and plants. Very friendly atmosphere. The Thai restaurant was exceptionally good value with first class service from very pleasant staff. The food is served hot and fresh and quickly after order. Obviously they like and need an hour turnover per table and prefer bookings but this is no problem at all considering their efficiency and service. You are not pressurised at all. If everywhere in west London was as good with such great value life would be better!

“Disinterested staff”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

Was passing this amazing looking pub fully festooned in flowers so thought we would pop in for a meal. On walking through to the restaurant area we enquired about the possibility of a table, and the reply from a sergeant-major type female member of staff was that a table might be available later, but we would only have one hour to finish our meal before we would have to leave! The whole atmosphere was one of total disinterest. I’m not sure where the staff received their advance customer service training, but they should request a refund of fees. We were considering just having a drink in the bar, but noticed that the place seemed quite dirty, and there was a musky smell in the air, possibly as a result of dampness from the many pot plants. In the end we decided to try elsewhere.

“Good beer, Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014 via mobile

Started with a pint of ESB which hit the "spot" and then to my surprise had an excellent Thai meal in the adjoining restaurant. The quality and value is hard to beat - £7.50 for a main meal! Try it, you'll be surprised!

“British Pubs don't get any better than this”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

The Churchill Arms has been a regular watering hole of mine for a very long time now. Visited last night with a regular group of 10 mates. Great London Pride and Chiswick to drink and out back is the consistantly good Thai restaurant with a menu that offers plenty of choice. Service is always good, but it isn't a restaurant that you can dwell at as the next group is always ready to take your table, still a very acceptable place to eat and most affordable. The pub is special, lots of loyal regulars, tourists and passers by. A good looking place outside and in. Warning- it can get very busy, but don't let that put you off coming as the atmosphere is great.
