“Comfort, convenience, and value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the West End (~10 min to Leicester Square), trains (~5 min to Charing Cross and ~20 min to Waterloo Stations), and the underground (~3 min to Embankment). Lots of buses pass nearby. Because of the theatre crowd and commuters, there are lots of restaurants of all types and price ranges nearby.

Our room was an double on the 7th floor. There was a small closet and somewhat limited drawer space. If you take advantage of the free self-service launderette and pack light, this shouldn't be a problem. It had free Wi-Fi and a small refrigerator . A minor issue is the lack of an in-room safe.

The room itself was very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient.

Stayed here with my partner to celebrate his birthday and loved every minute of it. Fantastic location - great for if you're seeing a west end show! Friendly and professional staff who know their stuff (especially when it comes to making cocktails - one of the best espresso martini's we have ever tried!). Room's fairly small but very comfortable and quiet considering the location. All round great stay and would highly recommend.

Great location! 2 minutes walk to Trafalgar square and from there you can take buses to almost everywhere! it's also 2 minutes walk from Charing cross station from where you can take the tube to most places.
it's also withing a walking distance to big ben, Piccadilly circus and Regent street...
Hop-on Hop-off bus has a stop right infront of the hotel.
There's a tesco express 9supermarket) which works 24/7 exactly beside the hotel and also a very nice gift shop.

We had a double and a triple room. Rooms are very clean and spacious specially the triple room, we were 3 adults with 3 big bags and we were very comfortable in the room.
Staff are very nice and helpful. Room has everything you need! and there are plastic bottles and filtered water n ice on every floor. There's a gym, couple of restaurants and a vending machine.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Service
I've come here for a one night stay on April 2013 for a friend's hen party. The workers were generally very friendly and helpful, which made the stay very pleasant.

Value/Food
We were a group of 5-6 people that stayed in the hotel, so I believe we got a good discount. Overall we paid only £45 per night, which includes breakfast. I'm sure the original prices are much more pricey. The breakfast is a buffet, which includes fresh bread, croissants, cereals, yoghurt, fruits and full english breakfast. You have a choice to make you're own drinks at the counter, which ranges from juices to hot drinks. The buffet was very tasty, but don't expect the full english to be you're average ones at home, just a bit fancier and less on a plate is all I could say.

Rooms/Cleanliness/Sleep Quality
The corridors leading to the rooms are a bit confusing at first, but you'll get used to it. I was quite surprised the rooms were very small, not much room to move around in. The bathroom was an ideal size anyway. Everything was very clean even in the hotel itself. The beds were big and very comfortable so I had no problem sleeping.

Location
The location is perfect considering it's based inside Central and just a min. away from Trafalgar Square. You'll have no problem getting there or out whilst you're travelling.

Overall a very pleasant and lovely stay. The hotel is very beautiful once you enter, warm and welcoming, even though the rooms were very small it's still very nice and cosy. The food is great, full english could've been better in terms of quantity. I would come back again!

A peaceful nights sleep in the middle of London. What a great location within minutes of all the sights and shows. This is matched by the very helpful staff who added greatly to the enjoyment of our short stay. The rooms have every amenity. We will be back.

Room Tip: We had 734 which looked out over the roof tops at the back and was very quiet

Can't beat the location of this hotel. It is next to trafalgar square which puts you walking distance to Big Ben, the Thames River, Buckingham Palace, Regents Street, Piccadilly Circus, etc. Also right next to two tube lines. Rooms were clean and spacious. Slightly outdated but with everything you need. Filtered water and water bottles available down the hall which was a nice touch. We could hear some noiee from the street but not bothersome. Overall good hotel in excellent location. Would definitely stay again.
