I have recently stayed at this hotel with a primary school party. The hotel is perfectly located right opposite the Natural History Museum and therefore has easy access to all of the sites.
The rooms are surprisingly comfortable for a hostel and although the 'bathroom' was a wet room type 'pod' the shower was lovely and hot and a good water pressure - just no space! There is a coffee shop and a lovely terrace area which gave our children a bit of space to let off steam. The rooms are air conditioned but the controls are at reception so some of the bigger rooms that our children had were too hot even though we asked for the aircon to be turned up. My room looked out onto the back of the hotel and was lovely and quiet with excellent sleep quality. I would imagine that those that face the road may be a bit noisy. My only gripe with this hotel was the food. It really was very poor, the evening meal that we were served on our second night was stone cold and the packed lunch that we ordered was dreadful. A thin white breaded ham and cheese sandwich (no choice) which didn't even have any butter, a bottle of water, an apple, bag of crisps and 2 custard cream biscuits. The breakfast was better and included bread rolls, ham, cheese, yogurt, toast and cereals. Unless you are staying with a school group I would recommend eating elsewhere!
Overall this is a fantastic and economical place to stay to visit London particularly for groups.
Avoid the road side of the hotel.
