We have just had our second stay at this lovely hotel and were not disappointed. I have recommended it to many people and noone has been unhappy so far! The rooms are well presented, perfectly clean and housekeeping are great at maintaining them. It is so easy to get to
straight on the train to Glouster station from the airport and conveniently positioned so as to enjoy
all the local sites. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, a supermarket and a stop for a hop on hop off bus which is a must.. The reception staff will attend to all your needs promptly and can answer any questions about London, shopping and anything else. There is also a laundry room downstairs which is free and a godsend for a busy traveller!

Room Tip: We havent had a bad room yet!

While this hotel is well situated it is on an incredibly noisy street - Cromwell Road is very busy 24/7 so there is never a time when the sound of traffic and particularly sirens isn't heard.

The rooms are also quite stuffy with air-con units that don't work very well, so it's best to avoid it in summer.

Hotel was great. Staff accommodated us with any early check-in after an o/night flight which was much appreciated.

Breakfast was good. We stayed in a self-contained appartment & there were plenty of stores nearby to purchase food & drink.

So close to two tube stations, heaps of restaurants, museums & other transport options. Great if your coming from Heathrow as its close to the Piccadilly line.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Honestly it is quite an average hotel. I feel that even though the location is pretty great (next to Gloucester Rd underground) the price that we had to pay for the Olympics was not worth it. For the price I was paying I think staying in the Hilton would have been a better experience.

A sidenote though. Since there haven't been much hotel occupancy during the Olympics the prices may have been reduced.

We stayed in this hotel at the end of June and the beggining of July. The rooms were different shapes and sizes, if You are more than two,try to see more rooms. But All in all they are modern and clean. The breakfast was very very limited. The other thing is the housekeeping, they don't put toiliters every day, and there is no 24 hour service. will recommend it especially to large families or those who wants to cook or stay for a long period.

Room Tip: Ground Floor rooms are large.

Dear Reema Th,
Thank you for sharing your experience at Fraser Place Queens Gate with other travellers. We appreciate both positive and negative feedback, as it helps us identify what our guests ‘expectations are. I am happy to hear that you found our apartments modern and clean. We do not have 24 hours housekeeping service indeed, but we do have 24 hours Front Office staff that is always happy to help or answer any questions. I sincerely hope that we are going to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future, particularly once we’ve completed the refurbishment of the property in March 2013.

Kind Regard,

Fraser Place is a two minute walk from Gloucester Road tube station making it easy to get to from Heathrow as well as making it easy to get into central London once you are there. The accommodation was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided was basic but did the job. In room wifi worked well and was free. The only criticism I would have is the basement apartment we were in felt like we were in a bunker. Not a lot of natural light or air. But overall, after a month of travelling around similar types of accommodation across Europe, Frasers was not too bad.

Location:
Geniusly located between South Kensington and Gloucester Underground stations. A beautiful, quiet area to return to after a long day of sightseeing. Many fabulous ethnic and local restaurants to chose from all around, fun pubs, small markets, bakeries, several free national museums, all within a stone-throw away, and not to mention just a 10 minute-walk from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Really an ideal geographical location that is easy to get to by tube from anywhere in London (Heathrow Airport takes under 40 minutes by tube on the Piccadilly line).

Room:
We booked a small studio apartment that included continental breakfast in the recently updated dinning room which served fresh pastries and fruits, as well as other yummy breakfast staples. Our room faced Cromwell Rd, and although I was worried the street noise would be an issue, it really wasn't, even during early morning traffic, not a car horn was heard.

Perks:
TV with cable access to numerous channels, iPod loading dock with speakers and surprisingly reliable free WiFi. Kitchenette was conveniently tucked away behing folding doors and stocked with complementary teas.

Staff:
Also to be noted, the staff was very polite and efficient. Before completing the booking process online, we had sent an email to the hotel, to which a staff member promptly replied, answering all of our inquiries. And a few days after actually booking, the same staff member returned a new email to us, thanking us for booking with them. Now that kind of personalized attention made chosing this place an easy decision...that we did not regret one bit.

Room Tip: There are basement rooms in this hotel, so if this is a turn-off (as it is for myself), make sure yo...
