“Great value, if you book early.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Made a last minute booking for an overnight stay, so was £127 for a twin room. That price could be at least halved if you can book early. That said, we were very pleased with our stay. Nice friendly greeting on checking in. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom as we always find in Premier Inn. Were really there just to sleep so didn't use restaurant or Costa Coffee at all. Best thing for us was the position, as we were using Tower Pier to board the Waverley Paddle Steamer for a few trips. Also near to the Tube at Tower Hill Station. Fitted the bill perfectly and would also add that we had a great sleep and had no noise issues at all, which we thought might be the case in London on a Friday night. No need for the "Good Night Guarantee" for us!
We will use this Premier Inn when next needing to stay in London.

Room Tip: At the end of a corridor seemed quiet. The trains to Fenchurch Street run past the rear of the hotel...

I stayed here for business in late September. The room was clean and well equipped. Although I only used it once, they have an excellent breakfast buffet. Their in-room wireless service is a good value and allows for up to three connections. If I have business in that part of London, I will stay there again.

For a hotel in central London this is fantastic value. We booked about a month in advance and paid only £68 for the room, breakfast was extra but this was expected. We had a family room that was very spacious and the cot provided for our son was lovely, it looked brand new. I did bring my own bedding for the cot but it was not needed as the hotels bedding was really good. I would definitely recommend this for anyone, but it is well placed for Tourists, The Tower of London is a five minute walk, with access the all tube lines nearby.

We were extremely late booking accommodation in London and during our frenzied googling we came across the Premier Inn chain. So many locations to choose from and our experience with the Tower Hill location was great and I would absolutely stay with Premier Inn again. Staff were wonderful and everything felt clean and safe. They locked up our bags for us on our last day so we could get some final sightseeing in. The bags were tagged and they provided us with a ticket so we could prove it was our luggage. The breakfast food wasn't exactly gourmet but still a good price.

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay, I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a good location, the price cannot be beat! The room was very clean and staff was friendly, the location was also great, right near the Tower of London and close to the Tower Hill underground station. We stayed here a total of 7 nights, the only issue that we came across was some construction noise on the last two days of our stay. It did start pretty early in the morning (around 6:30-7:30am), I wasn't bothered too much but I can see how someone who is sensitive to noise may be. I would recommend asking about the construction when booking and if its still ongoing, ask for a room that does not face in inner courtyard.

Husband and I stayed for 3 nights with my brother and his family from Australia. Rooms clean and very comfortable. Staff on reception and in the coffee/bar area very polite and helpful. When checking out we were able to keep luggage in secure until we were ready to go home. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great location fairly close to the train station, easy to find when arriving in London. Close to lots of attractions. A few pubs close by, always handy. Rooms a nice size, comfortable beds, great shower - always important. The staff were great, my husband lost/had his phone stolen whilst in London and the staff when out of their way to help us try to find it and direct us to the police station etc. The staff were absolutely wonderful on arrival with their cheerfulness and friendliness, very well trained staff. I will say that this was the only hotel we stayed in that really looked after your luggage well if you wished to go off for the day and come back to collect your luggage. They held it in a locked room and double checked the ticket given to you for retrieval. Well done....
