I stayed here with friends recently. The room was clean, but not as modern as other PI's I have stayed in. Room was meant to be set up as a twin but wasn't. A quick visit down to reception and the friendly recepionist came to set up the extra bed a little while later. Apart from this, nothing to really fault about the hotel. Booked about a month in advance and still payed £132 for one Saturday night- very expensive. Location is ok, but depends on where you want to go. We went to Picadilly Circus, Oxford St and that kind of area. We found it to be quite a bit of a trek and too far out so would not book in this location again. Also found it to be quite far from Paddington, about 40mins on the tube. So if you are coming to see the sights and main 'touristy' areas of London, I'd wouldn't recommend this hotel for you. If not, it's absolutely fine and does the job. The Tower Hill tube station was about a 5min walk.
